Physical Therapy assists
the pediatric patient in areas of gross motor development, strength, endurance, balance and motor planning.
Physical Therapy includes
educating our patients in the use of assistive devices so that function, mobility and safety will be enhanced. Physical Therapy
may benefit children with the following conditions or limitations:
Pediatric Physical Therapist
makes recomendations regarding adaptive equipment and assistive devices such as wheelchairs or seating equipment, braces/orthotics
and walkers and crutches.
